It started as a joke. No, really, an April Fool's Day joke. The last piece of work I created with Hiebing was an April Fool's Day post for Culver's announcing a too-good-to-be-true new menu item: The Curderburger. Six months later, it became a reality - and a pretty big deal.
The burger sold out all over Wisconsin, with diners waiting in lines that wrapped around the block, and selling their real-life Curderburgers for hundreds of dollars online. I love being a part of this cheesy Wisconsin lore (even though I've been vegan for over twenty years. Don't tell anyone.)
