This one was a dream come true. The Isthmus is a long-running paper in my hometown of Madison, Wisconsin. I read it literally my entire life, and this fall I was invited to illustrate the cover. The ask was a fall themed illustration, focused on technology in some way, and avoiding the standard fall color palette of red and orange. I love the result on the screen, but there's nothing like feeling that nice newsprint texture IRL. So just pretend.
